| The National Customs Brokers and Forwarders Association of America's (NCBFAA) Annual Conference 2000, will be held March 12-16 at the Sheraton El Conquistador Resort and Country Club in Tucson, Arizona. The theme for this years conference is "Navigating and Negotiating Your Way Through the New Century."
This year's conference will include a forwarding presentation on the NCBFAA Shippers Association and service contracts, and an airfreight program on Cargo 2000 and the Internet. Customs information and discussion will come via a new rotating panel format led by that agency's assistant commissioners. Topics to be addressed include national permits, the broker account management system, the Automated Commercial Environment/International Trade Data System, and the future of the Customs Service organization.
